@harukamori.jp: During a recent talk with Whoopi Goldberg at PaleyFest NY, seventy-eight-year-old comedian Billy Crystal confessed there was one Saturday Night Live co-star he could not even look in the face. When Billy was on the show from 1984 to 1985, he performed in more sketches with Christopher Guest than anyone else. Whenever Christopher had lines during their recurring "Willie and Frankie" sketches, Billy had to physically turn his head and look the other way. The reason was simple: Christopher made him laugh too hard. During one live broadcast about two characters who constantly hurt themselves, Christopher suddenly changed his rehearsed line about taking off his clothes. On live television, he said he "stripped down to the n*de," a funny way of saying he got n*ked, which made Billy completely lose control. Those hilarious years built lifelong bonds for Billy, who also praised Martin Short and the late Robin Williams, who d*ed in 2014. Beyond the sketch show, Billy and Christopher worked together on classic films like The Princess Bride, directed by their close friend Rob Reiner. Tragically, in December 2025, Rob d*ed alongside his wife Michele after being fat*lly st*bbed at his Los Angeles home. Just the night before at Conan O'Brien's Christmas party, Billy and Rob had spent hours talking about their careers. That night, Rob told Billy, "Hits are great to have, but it's the people that you hold on to." Billy says he has kept those final words in his heart ever since. In a world focused on fame and success, the moments of shared laughter are what truly stay with us when the cameras stop rolling. Sometimes the best part of any journey is simply the people who made us laugh along the way. What is a memory with a friend that still makes you smile today? #BillyCrystal #SNL #RobinWilliams #RobReiner #hollywoodstories
