@alaskansunnysidesister: 🎶 “He’s in the Jailhouse Now” | Jimmie Rodgers 🎶 What better place to play a Jimmie Rodgers classic than right inside his own museum?! 🤠🎶 While we were in Mississippi for a concert, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Jimmie Rodgers Museum in Meridian, Mississippi! We were invited for a special tour and got to learn so much about the life and music of the man known as the “Father of Country Music”! And of course, being bluegrass musicians, we couldn’t pass up the chance to pull out our instruments and play “He’s in the Jailhouse Now” right there in the museum! 🎸🪕🎻 It was such a special experience getting to visit a place filled with so much country music history! If you’re ever in Meridian, Mississippi, be sure to stop by and check out the Jimmie Rodgers Museum! ❤️ #JimmieRodgers #HesInTheJailhouseNow #AlaskanSunnysideSisters #Bluegrass #CountryMusic
