@laura.commodities: Can I get into mining with no money? Yes… and no. There are levels to it: 💰 Brokering: $0. Connect buyers and sellers from your phone or laptop, anywhere in the world. You earn a commission per ton when deals close. It costs nothing but your time, but you need to know the product, the terms, and how to spot who’s real. 💰💰 Trading. You buy material from the mine and resell it to an end buyer at a profit. You need capital (or financing) to pay the supplier before your buyer pays you, plus an understanding of pricing, quality specs, and contracts. 💰💰💰 Transport & logistics. You move material from mine to port or buyer. That means trucks, equipment, permits, and insurance, all paid upfront before your first load runs. 💰💰💰💰 Actual mining. This is the highest capex of all. You need geologicals, surveys, licensing, and heavy equipment before you move an inch of dirt, and it can take months or years before you see a return. If you’re starting from scratch, start at the bottom. Learn the language of mining and trading first, then work your way up as your network and capital grow.
