That’s ridiculous. A 15 year old knows better than to strike someone with a bat. There needs to start being real criminal consequences for such acts as this. No way 3 months in juvie is going to cover this. I would go after them civilly. They should have to be broke bums for the rest of their lives. 50% of all her future earnings and her parents should have to pay until she comes of age and start paying herself. That should be in order. For life.
