My biggest advise is to bring a few sets of clothes in different sizes, when Roman was broken we had 0-3 and they were massive in him so had to buy newborn sizes xx

We took swaddles to the hospital and midwives were fine with it. You won’t be able to use the pram suit in a car seat. I wouldn’t bother with the temperature egg (we have one and they’re great for home). But the wards are very warm to keep the babies warm anyways. Nappy ointment - our midwife suggested not to put any cream on them for the first week or so. She never got nappy rash! No socks needed if she’s in a baby grow. Baby water wipes as well as warm water as if you have a section etc they’re easier to reach for. I took 5 baby grows and 5 vests and that was enough! X

We found cotton wool balls when wet go super small and it’s hard to actually use them.. large cotton pads were so much easier and a life saver for us ☺️x

Sleepsuits only, with hats. Won’t need socks or booties. Make sure you have different size sleepsuits and vests as we didnt have correct size! A long charger! Also, take baby wipes, we never even bothered with cotton balls! Xxx

I wouldn’t worry about The pram suit, a good blanket will be perfect. She can also wear her hat to the car then remove once in the car 🫶 x

Defo suggest flipping the nappies around in the little caddy so the open side is on the bottom. No biggie but it’s easier to pull out 1 than trying to find which 2 flaps belong to the same nappy :) x

You’ll not need pram suit and can’t use in car seat, if just baby grows you’ll not need socks they build in most mits are too, swaddles good, I find the flat cotton wool best but it’s just choice. I’d pack some milk also just incase.

The pramsuit you can’t use in the car seat so I probably wouldn’t bother as if you have a vest and baby grow and blanket and hat your be fine to leave ! With your bag I would pack more pjs than you think xx

Advice I wish someone gave me: have one wallet with a baby grow, nappy, vest & hat for incase you have an emergency section. They will ask Dad to sort that out very quickly before heading down and it just takes the panic away for them!! xx

You can get baby goes with roll down sleeves that act like a scratch mitten, they’re really handy because I used to find that the scratch mitts fell off! 😊 xx

Long charger lead and a peg to peg it to pillow stop it from falling specially if having a c-section x

Cardigan, little blanket for the car. Make sure you have snacks for yourself, and some flip flops/sliders, I brought my own pillow from home too and it was such a comfort. Good luck! X

I wouldn’t pack a pram suit as babies/children shouldn’t wear them or a coat in car seats. Hat & blanket for the car seat 💕

And wouldn’t bother with pram suit I would get more layers like cardigans and cellular blankets because they can’t go in car seat with pram suit on anyway and quite bulky 🥰 xx

Swap the wool balls for wool pads so much easier to wipe don’t break up just as soft xx

You definitely don’t need the pram suit. The car seat straps should be as close to the baby’s body, definitely not over a pram suit x
