Creamy Garlic Chicken Ingredients 600 g chicken cubes 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tbsp cumin powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp chilli flakes Half cup yogurt 3 green chillies, crushed 5 garlic cloves, crushed 1 tbsp lemon juice 3 tbsp butter 2 tbsp oil 1 large onion, blended into a puree 1 cup milk ½ cup thick cream 4 tbsp mozzarella cheese Crushed black pepper, green chillies and fresh coriander for garnish Method Marinate the chicken with all the spices,lemon juice, yogurt, chilli and garlic.Mix well and set aside. In a pan, heat butter and oil. Add the blended onion and cook for 7–8 minutes until nicely cooked. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 10–12 minutes, turning the pieces until they develop a beautiful golden colour on both sides and are fully cooked. Add the milk and cream mixture and cook for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken beautifully. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top, garnish with crushed black pepper, green chillies and fresh coriander, then cover and cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes until the cheese melts.
