@profitequationhq: A Teen Investing $50 A Week Could Retire With Millions. Here Is What It Could Grow To By Age 65: - Start at 14: $4,218,000 - Start at 16: $3,449,000 - Start at 18: $2,820,000 - Start at 20: $2,304,000 - Start at 22: $1,882,000 - Start at 25: $1,388,000 - Start at 30: $832,000 Starting at 16 could mean about $138,000 a year in retirement income using the 4% rule, from only $127,000 invested over 49 years. Time does most of the work, so an early start matters more than a big amount. Note: A custodial Roth IRA requires earned income, so the teen needs a job or other earned income to qualify. $50 a week is $2,600 a year, well under the 2026 limit of $7,500. The 10% used here is a hypothetical based on my own long-term experience investing in VOO and QQQM together. Follow @profitequationhq for more simple investing education. Man i wish someone told me this when i was 14. A lot of kids probably have a college account growing like this, but also they can use some of their lawn mowing or mall job $ to put into 2-3 ETFs to start their own retirement plan
