in 2013 in graduated outta uwi with a degree in math, minor in statistics and being the first undergrad from uwi to pass an acturial examination professionally before graduation...i had two exams passed. I sent out hundreds of resumes and didnt even get an email back. meanwhile i was getting contacted easily by US and UK firms and had interview offers abroad, but sidnt have work visa. Trinidad have little to no jobs incoming because no jobs were created for educated factions, hence industries fail to keep up and so does the market force.

30 alone?? Since October Last year I been out of a job😔💔 Not a day goes by I don't send out a resume online and physical... I got 3 interviews out of all 120+ applications and all I got was "HR will contact you"... Not a call back. And to be honest... I find they should just tell you from the jump that they won't be taking you instead of having us to wait so long on this call.

As someone with 5 passes, 11 years experience in retail, clerical, reception, a trained OJT who actually completed the program, I have been jobless for nearly 2 years. No matter what the only way to get a job now is links. I don’t believe anything else works. Honesty doesn’t get you anywhere.

Clerk 1 positions are paying almost minimum wage and want 2 yrs experience. That used to be entry-level with 3 to 5 CSEC subjects.
