Salaam to the Prophet PBUH. Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam. Accessing the area to give salutations (Salaam) to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at his noble burial chamber (Al-Rawdah Al-Mutahharah) is done through separate procedures and entrances for men and women. The process is generally separate from the visitation to the Rawdah Sharif (Riyadh Al-Jannah). Men have more direct access to the outer railing area of the burial chamber. • Entry Gate: Enter through Gate 1 (Bāb as-Salām - The Gate of Peace), located on the Western side of the mosque. • Procedure: 1. You will walk along this railing for a short distance, which is your opportunity to offer your Salaam. • Timing: This process is generally accessible throughout the day and night when the mosque is open, except during congregational prayer times.
