my mum always responded with ... "oh they're in the big scissors department" And if you asked her how long something would be, like "When will dinner be ready?" she'd just hold up her hands like she was showing you a measurement and stare at ya.

😂😂 I will suggest 3 places the missing item could be.... my daughter will say she HAS LOOKED THERE!!! ..... I will then say, ok (as I get up) if I find them - Dead arm... she moves quickly, and then Hey presto, she finds them. so no need for the dead arm. 😂😂
