@fox12oregon: A Rapid Response Bio-Clean crew found human remains Monday while cleaning a homeless camp off I-405 near West Burnside and NW 14th Avenue. It marks the second such discovery in a week, after remains were found last Tuesday near SE Harvey Milk Street and SW Naito Parkway. The news shocked nearby residents and unhoused community members. Portland police say the cases could be connected pending medical examiner review.

Honestly, it’s so frustrating how hard it is to talk about our homeless situation with other portlanders. They act like all the homeless people around here are like the nice homeless lady from home alone 2. You can’t go anywhere in Downtown Portland with someone screaming racial slurs in the middle of the street, or having to look out for human poop and urine, or navigating around tents and piles of trash blocking the sidewalks.

Didn’t the first story about this say they fully emptied the spot and then the next day they were called back to get more and found them then? So why wouldn’t they be concerned? Nobody gonna bag up a body and leave it in two different places without it being foul play they’re homeless so ppd is taking the easy way out and assuming! Not every homeless person does drugs!! And why wouldn’t someone call if it was od or natural causes? Why wouldn’t someone call the body be in two different places yeah right!! This was probably someone moving the body there and probably wasn’t even our homeless community! Probably just tryna pin it on them so it’s seen like this as an od! Ridiculous do better Portland wtf
