@crom.movie: A celebrity wedding in Hawaii reportedly turned tense when Billy Bush came face-to-face with author Amy Griffin. Now, the former TV host is sharing his side of what happened. On his Hot Mics show, Bush claimed Griffin was upset with him over his reporting about the controversy surrounding her memoir, The Tell. He said that from the moment he arrived in Lanai, he could feel her glaring at him and claimed she was telling people not to speak to him. But the situation allegedly escalated when Griffin finally approached him. Bush recalled that Griffin stumbled, spilling the contents of her purse across the lawn. According to his account, actress Demi Moore helped her collect the scattered items before the two spoke. Bush said Griffin was angry, but he tried to end the conversation peacefully. He reportedly told her that the wedding was not the right place to discuss their disagreement and offered to speak another time. Then came another surprising allegation. Bush claimed Griffin approached his girlfriend and questioned how she could date someone she described as “ab\*sive.” He criticized the alleged confrontation, arguing that the celebration should not have become about their dispute. The conflict reportedly connects to a legal battle over The Tell. A former classmate accused Griffin of taking elements of her personal experiences for the memoir. Griffin has denied the allegations, and she later filed a defamation lawsuit against the classmate, according to the report. For now, the wedding confrontation remains a dispute told from Bush’s perspective. The bigger question is whether the two will ever address their differences publicly.
