1. Social media isn’t a gamble — it’s math. Post daily, keep improving, and eventually something hits. I used to think that was just advice people gave to sound wise. Then one cap video blew past everything else I’d posted, and it clicked — that’s not luck, that’s your audience finally telling you what they want. 2. Manners die behind a keyboard. My best-performing videos are also my most-hated ones. The clips that get shared the most are the same ones where someone’s in the comments telling me my work is ugly or that I don’t deserve the following. Doesn’t matter how long you do this — it still gets in your head sometimes. 3. You are worth more than your views. People meet me through a 15-second clip and think they’ve got me figured out — who I am, what kind of art I make. What they don’t see is the hours at the workbench, or the years before DCC where I was just trying to hold it together. 4. Nobody teaches you how to let go. Not just of the hate, or the numbers — but of the version of you that other people build in their heads. I never expected there’d be this much pressure around making art: filming, editing, planning, revising. This started in my 20m2 room where I was living with my girlfriend. Just because I liked making caps That’s it. Letting go of the expectations — while still chasing the best version of yourself — will take you further than chasing the algorithm ever will. #cybersigilism #customcap #upcycledfashion #contentcreation #ravewear
