I feel like the black bars on the side are temporary. They will adjust the app to fix this in the coming weeks

Lmao everyone claiming "apps aren't optimized yet" are just bootlickers. Apple shipped the SDKs and specs for the Duo almost a year ago, all of the top names have had access to optimize and get ready. Tiktok looks WAY better on the outer screen of the Fold8.

They’re currently a ton of apps that have not yet been updated for the new screen ratios of the duo. As time goes on most apps will be fixed, however, this is totally on the applications developers, and not something that Apple fixes.

The software does not match the hardware those black bars are awful. There’s a good reason why you shouldn’t buy 1st gen of new tech

Now do YouTube and TikTok at the same time. You’ll see it glitches out. I hate it! The sound from each perspective video crosses over

Possible to show the instant translation is it displayed on the outside screen as the xiaomi does? The scanner is more optimized on the duo the dictate makes fewer mistakes and Apple Intelligence is what you can make a video on these points please. Annie from France
