@brandiferranti: Took the kids to their first protest in Paris… 😅 All jokes aside, October 17th was terrifying. On one hand, people were casually eating dinner, and on the other, massive crowds were running, fireworks were going off, stores were being destroyed, and a Molotov cocktail was thrown just feet from me and my kids. I’ll forever be grateful for the stranger who saw the fear in my eyes and opened his apartment lobby to keep us safe while a crowd passed. This experience reminded me that headlines don’t tell the whole story. Paris is still beautiful, the whole city isn’t on fire and its people are kind. Lastly…Halston is definitely his father’s son because he slept through our entire escape. 💤 #paris #france #parisprotest #october17 #protest
