🇬🇧 The Mauritanian man… more than a source of money. In our society, a man's value is often measured by what he can financially provide: How much does he make? What does he own? What can he pay for? But who asks how he is doing? Who cares about his health? Who listens to his feelings when he is silently struggling? Men are raised to be strong, to provide, to carry responsibility, and to never complain. Eventually, that pressure becomes so normalized that we stop questioning it. But a man is human too. He has emotions. He has limits. He gets tired. He gets sick. And sometimes, he simply needs someone to listen. The problem isn't that men should take responsibility. The problem is when responsibility becomes more important than their humanity. Maybe it's time to change the way we see the Mauritanian man. What do you think? Is our society ready to have this conversation?
