They had been wrestling in WWE for a long time. It's actually a good thing that they can now wrestle new wrestlers instead of wrestling the same opponents again and again. Tommaso Ciampa didn't get many opportunities as a singles wrestler on the main roster, and the Tag team division barely got any TV time. Now, he looks happy in AEW. Ilja Dragunov is one of the best wrestlers in the world. Ilja is a wrestler, not a superstar. AEW is better suited for him than WWE. It would be unfair to say that Brock's spot didn't impact his WWE run. MCMG received a big push when they made their debut, but later, they barely got any TV time.
