@dropship: Psyonic made a massive splash on Shark Tank in Season 15 when founder Dr. Aadeel Akhtar secured a $1 million investment split between Lori Greiner, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary. Originally seeking $1 million for a 2% equity stake, Dr. Akhtar pitched his company's flagship product, the Ability Hand, which is recognized as the world's fastest and first multi-touch sensitive bionic hand. To demonstrate its incredible durability, retired U.S. Army Sgt. Garrett Anderson joined Dr. Akhtar on stage and used his martial arts skills to break a wooden board using the bionic hand, leaving the Sharks completely amazed. The technology impressed the panel not just for its advanced capabilities—like being water-resistant and able to charge a cell phone via a USB-C port—but also because it is covered by Medicare and most major insurance providers, making it accessible to those who need it. While Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec opted out, the remaining three Sharks agreed to team up and provide the full $1 million in exchange for a combined 6% stake (2% each) through a mix of common and advisory shares, successfully preserving Psyonic's $50 million company valuation. Following their appearance on the show, Psyonic has continued to grow rapidly, expanding its manufacturing capabilities and even collaborating with major tech companies like Nvidia to develop AI models for advanced robotic dexterity. #fyp #sharktank #money #sharktank #business
