o problema é que eu não sei quando parar de insistir, pois tenho esperança de que vai dar certo.

Mornings used to start with bracing before my eyes were fully open. My heart was already thudding, my mind scanning for what the day might require me to survive, what mood I might walk into, what problem might be waiting before I’d had a sip of coffee. My chest was tight before my feet touched the floor. Hope wasn’t available to me most mornings. Vigilance got there first, every time, and claimed the morning before I could. Now I wake up hopeful. Curious about the day instead of guarded against it. My first thought doesn’t have to be a threat assessment before I’m allowed to get out of bed. I used to think hope was naive, something for people who hadn’t learned how unpredictable life could be. I understand now that hope was never naive. It was waiting for enough safety to return. That shift, from bracing to hoping, is some of the strongest proof I have that my life is different now, not just that I’ve gotten better at pretending. Some mornings I still choose it on purpose, before the old habit tries to take over. But I get to choose it now, and that is everything I once thought I would never have. Hope gets to lead now instead of fear. Save this for the morning you have to choose it on purpose. What helps you wake up hopeful instead of braced? Share this with someone who is still bracing before they open their eyes. Free guides for this are in the Healing Library, link’s in the About section. #IAmThatFriend #troublemakertheresa #HopeInHealing #MorningGratitude #HealingJourney
