I'm a techie and I do feel the pull of "man this personal agent stuff is so cool, I should be using this for everything" with my self-hosted AI stuff that I really do like a lot... and I *cannot* find actual things to do with it, all the examples are either stupid or I can't trust an AI to do it right so I'd just end up babysitting it when I could just do it myself

I've said elsewhere and I'll say here as well the AI marketing is basically the same thing as establishment Democrat marketing. They see that the economy on paper looks good and are confused why people aren't spending money to go on vacations and buy houses, etc. Just completely out of touch with reality.

I downloaded OBS Studio so I could start live streaming, but I had no idea how to tune the myriad of arcane settings in OBS, so I asked GPT-6 Astra Medium if it could tune OBS for me, so it connected to my computer, controlled my keyboard and mouse, and spent half a hour tuning hundreds of settings to refine my streaming quality. It was as if I hired an audio engineer to configure my set up for me. That was an objective utility for me and I appreciated the agent’s utility. I just don’t know if Normies are going to have use cases like this.
