@itsmrskelly: There’s something so sad about how true this statement is. It feels like a time of AI companies, tech giants, and the most outlandish riches that are punching down constantly on the many, the poor, and the exhausted. It seems like all forms of leadership point to corruption, to apathy, and to self-interest at the cost of the societies and communities so many work to preserve. And then our fellow Man joins in on the corruption and the immoral routes in order to try and get ahead, following what they see in leaders who do not care about the example they set. And how so many of us, despite how truly hard we try, feel like we cannot get ahead, we feel exhausted, and begin to become numb to the evils of the world - which we know are evil - but we cannot afford to expend any emotional energy because we’re so busy just trying to get by. That is a devastating feeling, and I know it will not last. There is a dawn coming, and a deep change, and it will require the last gasp of air before the plunge. thank you for this. not everything we share and talk about should have a positive spin on it. sometimes we just need a place to discuss the pain and see how all these other people feel it too. it lets us know that we aren't alone and our feelings are valid. it brings us closer together and that could bring us closer to an end to this. the more we connect, the less power they have
