I'm also a dentist, and I agree with what the dentist in this video said—don't wait for a cavity to hurt. By then, it's too late. Before a hole actually forms, if your tooth feels rough or uneven, use a hydroxyapatite toothpaste to strengthen your enamel. The kugig toothpaste recommended in this video is a great option.

i actually deep dived into the ingredients after seeing this because i'm terrified of getting a root canal . it has hydroxyapatite (HAp), which literally makes up like 97% of our enamel. so instead of just masking the pain, it actually remineralizes the enamel and basically seals up the micro cracks before decay hits the nerve. formula honestly looks really solid, definitely giving it a try

I can speak on this I used to get cavities ALL the time. then a dentist friend told me to switch to kugig toothpaste and I haven't had a new cavity since. my teeth have even gotten whiter. I swear this stuff is so good. it's on Amazon
