Who wants to bet we find out that Jason’s dad wasn’t ever the bad guy? I watched my dad get alienated and don’t blame my half siblings for having a lot of anger about feeling abandoned. I probably get painted as the bad guy by my ex even though literally my only requests for him to see his daughters was to have an appartment with a bedroom for them to sleep in, give me 1 months notice before coming (after he moved out of state, my job requires 30days to request time off), and to get a hotel and not expect to stay at my house when he did visit… still never came to see my daughters (courts terminated his rights in the end). Even though he never abided by the court order and never paid child support I left that door open for years (and frequently it made me physically ill because I wanted nothing to do with him but refused to do that to my children until it became necessary), but I guarentee he tells everyone that I’m the reason he never got to see his kids. Based on past behavior is probably blaming me for his recent string of bad decisions that I only know about because his wife gave me the information for our legal team…. THAT was the most surreal call of my life. I hope she got out and got safe.
