It’s called feminism instead of a more gender neutral term like humanism because we live in a patriarchy. Women are oppressed under patriarchy for their gender- not men.
you become a feminist when you're 4 and notice that only you and your girl cousins have to do chores, while the boy cousins got to watch tv,,,, Coz you ask the adult and the response is always "don't start this" and that's when you realize "oh shit there's something here isnt it"
I’ve been following u for a while now. Thank uhh for always including subs. Altho i’m a man, it always breaks my heart whenever i encounter women who say they are not feminists. A lot of people in this world have wrong perception about feminism, when all it means is that everyone should have equal rights. A lot of non-Japanese people have assumptions about Japan being a perfect country, when it has a lot of such problems. Sexism (even SA) towards women is a big problem in Japan. I’m glad people like u exist Marin who are verbal about it🫶✨
