@julianthorne.us: Zoë Foster Blake has put fresh attention on her friendship with former Elle Australia editor Justine Cullen after the pair were spotted getting close at a star-studded New York wedding reception. The longtime friends were photographed cuddling up at the celebration for Australian comedian Andy Lee and his partner, Rebecca Harding, last Tuesday. Their reunion caught fans' attention after rumors suggested the pair had drifted apart. Speculation began earlier this year when Zoë was noticeably absent from Justine's 50th birthday getaway to New Zealand. Given their close friendship spanning more than a decade, her absence raised questions among media insiders. But their latest appearance together suggests there may be less drama than people imagined. Zoë and Justine became close while Cullen was editor-in-chief of Elle Australia, where Zoë was a regular contributor and cover star. They even worked together on the magazine's first podcast and shared plenty of adventures away from the office. Back in 2015, Zoë joined Justine and another friend for a girls' trip to Los Angeles, joking about their champagne-filled getaway on Instagram. Zoë also attended Justine's lavish 40th birthday party in 2016. And there was another clue that their friendship may have remained strong: Justine attended Zoë's “anything but clothes” themed birthday party last December. At Andy and Rebecca's wedding reception, the pair mingled with famous guests, including Hugh Jackman and Zoë's husband, Hamish Blake, as celebrations continued late into the night. Their affectionate reunion may finally quiet the speculation, although neither has publicly explained the rumors. Sometimes, a friendship doesn't need a public statement to show that the bond is still there.
