my dog once threw up on the floor and I didnt know bc it was pitch black and I stepped in it and fell and my dog thought he was introuble and he looked so scared bc the ppl we got him from abused him i sat holding him for an hour crying telling him hes okay and it isnt his fault I still hate those ppl for abusing my baby bc hes still scared of everything bc of them

I'll give a stern talking to my dog when hes acting up because he wants attention. but never when hes actually feeling bad. he likes it either way since I am in fact giving him the attention he wants lol

Intent :

She’s not with me anymore but my old dog used to get so upset when she’d throw up she’d go hiding. So I had to take to doing this with her. Give her a few pets, bring her her water bowl, and tell her it was okay and she was still a good girl. Took a while but she eventually stopped hiding, instead would just run to me when she felt she was gonna be sick. Which, on one hand was sweet that she trusted me, but on the other was a little gross since I always had to be the one to clean it. Still, if that’s what had to be done, that’s what it was. Miss my dog.

Ugh it hurts my heart when it’s clearly an accident. My pup growing up would accidentally pee the bed at night bc c she was getting old, and she was always so ashamed even though we would be so gentle and tell her it was okay and not her fault. I miss her so much!

My pittie is constantly puking, she has GERD and then dairy is her enemy, as well as certain types of dog food. Shes got a place to go puke for easy clean up and sometimes we are able to send her outside so she can puke! sometimes there isn't enough of time and its in the floor. I dont yell at her, I just clean it up and make a "big deal" about it (I tell her thats what she gets for eating stuff she ain't supposed to eat when she goes outside when I'm to busy to watch where she is) and then go cuddle and love on her. 🥰
