I'm so grateful for my mom and for having a somewhat peaceful family. At 25, I don't have to leave home. I still eat home cooked meals everyday, home cooked meriendas, etc. My parents still buy me pasalubongs whenever they go somewhere. I know I'm an adult but at home, I'm still just a kid 🤍

It is really a mental work, paano pagkasyahin ang budget vs. presyohan sa market at paano yung diskarte to cook na kulang ang ingredients without looking for a recipe idea. Unlike us, we can watch tiktok/fb/yt for ideas.

I remember dati nung bata ako, kapag naka cornbeef, nuggets or hotdog mga cm ko ibig sabihin mayaman sila. kasi si mama never kami nilulutuan ng ganun, nagluluto talaga siya ng almusal like isda, talbos ng kamote, saging HAHAHHAHA kahit hindi kami laking probinsya. Na realized ko na nageeffort talaga siya pakainin kami ng totoong pagkain hindi yung mabilisan na luto like processed food kasi sa health din namin yun🥺
