@styledbysurvival: Replying to @S E Patrick Clancy said Lindsay’s doctor instructed her to hand over medications she was no longer taking to him. Meanwhile, one of Lindsay’s doctors testified that when bipolar disorder was raised as a possibility, Patrick interjected, “My wife is not bipolar.” After nearly a decade working in healthcare, I have serious questions about BOTH of these interactions. Why was her husband being put in charge of her medication? And why was he speaking for her during a discussion about HER mental health? Maternal mental health advocacy should start with listening to the mother. #LindsayClancy #PatrickClancy #LindsayClancyTrial #MaternalMentalHealth #PatientAdvocacy

Those are controlled meds, in my state Illinois, you will catch a charge for every single pill that is in your possession without a prescription.

The malignant narcissist sees their partner and children as extensions of themselves, so having a serious mental health disorder, he would believe, reflects poorly on him and he cannot have that. So the diagnosis is shot down.

How did the Seroquel that had been discontinued from her treatment plan about a month earlier, and that she had stopped taking, end up accessible to her and show up in her blood that night at a level within the toxic range, while the “medication collection specialist” was supposedly so meticulous and thorough in his work?!!

Honestly I think that’s why she always did virtual visits.. I think he made her. And I think it’s bc he wanted to be able to listen and sort of control the narrative

The fact that he told people on the stand that doctors told him to confiscate her medication is going to ruin him in his civil suit. Never happened

Not to mention the benzos are controlled substances. No way in hell is a doctor going to tell someone to just give those to someone else!

A provider/ pharmacist would never say this especially with a controlled substance! My son has tried numerous ADHD meds and never has the pediatrician told me or my spouse to dispose of the old meds. Obviously I would since we don’t use it but I’d toss in my garbage can call it a day.

NEVER HAPPENED TO. Providers would be liable for this. No one I have ever worked with would advise a patient or their spouse to “get rid of the medication.”

He spoke to multiple providers about his concerns that the medication was making her worse and worked with them to get her off certain medications…

@Natalie Crowley Larkins: okay. i was diagnosed with adhd when i was probably 9 years old. i grew up feeling some type of way about it so i have been on anmd off as far as meditations and treatments or whatever. and, especially now that i’m grown and looking back, i think i have always been able to tell the difference anmd knew that i was better and so many things were so much easier during the times that i was medicated. all that to say…. after i got married and we started trying for our first baby…. i remember expressing concerns to my exhusband as well as my obgyn bc of “pregnancy brain” and being emotional and scattered brain wasn’t exactly mlxlng well at first (it didn’t last long anmd then my hormones leveled out and i felt better than i ever have lol)… but, i remember my exhusband shutting down the whole ldea of me having adhd at all…. he klnda got weird and defensive about it, really. carried on about it not even being real anmd whatever else…. even tho i had had been formally tested and diagnosed as a child and everything else in terms of the medications and the things i had tried over the years…. none of that mattered. bc in hls mlnd that meant i was flawed or broken, i guess…. and, so he refused to acknowledge it ln any way bc he refused to thlnk that his children could potentially have something “wrong” w them too. it was awful lol. i was very young and just stfu lnstead of actually dealing w him bc all i wanted was to be a momma. our amazing girls are teenagers now and i’m so proud of them…. anmd, we have been divorced longer than we were married, at this point lol. but, that testimony from that dr lady saying that that’s what Patrick said responding to even the suggestion that hls wlfe may bl-polar sent m right back those conversations with my ex husband 16 years ago 😳😔

Hello out there! :
Lindsay is a adult , she had a nursing career. Why would a doctor be talking to her like she’s 12 yrs old? “ Give the left over meds to your husband to dispose of”. 😂😂😂😂😂 Yeah right Patrick .

I mean clearly she was well enough to take care of their children according to him so why in the world would she not be able to dispose of her own medication

This makes me so sad, angry and upset. Nothing adds up. Lindsay was a good mom and the doctor she took Cora to that morning didn’t notice anything abnormal about Lindsay. How could she go from normal to a homicidal maniac? Never would happen. How could a nurse if she did plan this, not have a much better plan to off herself? Certainly she would know exactly how to do this without doing a head dive into the back yard. It’s just extreme,y sad about the kids too. There’s no way she did this.

Have a strange feeling in my gut that he may have been taking some of the medication, particularly the benzos, himself. Just a thought.

What if this is the first time in history that the general public succeeded in proving someone guilty totally separate from the justice system ?
