@attractionally: COME, LET US BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP THE LORD OUR MAKER “Come, let us bow down and worship him; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!” — Psalm 95:6 (GNT) In a world that constantly demands our attention, it is easy to become so occupied with our daily responsibilities that we forget to pause and stand in the presence of the One who created us. Psalm 95 invites us to do something simple yet deeply meaningful: stop, humble ourselves before God, and worship Him with all our hearts. To bow before the Lord is more than a physical gesture. It is an expression of a heart that recognises His greatness and acknowledges its dependence upon Him. It is saying, “Lord, You are my Creator, my Sustainer, and my God. My life belongs to You.” We often come before God with requests. We pray for healing, protection, financial stability, family blessings, and solutions to our problems. There is nothing wrong with bringing our needs before our Heavenly Father. He invites us to approach Him in prayer. But worship also teaches us to come before Him without asking for anything—to praise Him simply because He is worthy of our praise. He is worthy when our prayers are answered and when we are still waiting. He is worthy when life brings happiness and when our hearts are burdened with sorrow. His greatness does not change with our circumstances, and His faithfulness remains a reason for our trust. Dear friends, remember that the hands that formed you belong to the God who knows you completely. He knows your strengths and weaknesses, your hopes and disappointments, your joys and secret struggles. You are never beyond His knowledge or beyond His invitation to draw near to Him. When you kneel in prayer, let pride give way to humility, anxiety give way to trust, and distraction give way to reverence. Offer Him your gratitude, confess your sins sincerely, and surrender the burdens you cannot carry alone. For Catholics, this call to worship has a special meaning in the presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Before the Lord in the Holy Eucharist, we can spend time in silent adoration, allowing our hearts to become attentive to His presence and His love. You do not need to have a perfect life to worship God. You only need a humble heart willing to turn toward Him. Let us worship our Maker not only with our lips, but through the way we live: by loving our neighbours, forgiving those who hurt us, caring for the vulnerable, and seeking God's will in our daily decisions. A PRAYER OF ADORATION AND SURRENDER Heavenly Father, You are my Creator, my Lord, and my greatest treasure. I bow before You with a humble and grateful heart, acknowledging Your greatness and the gift of life You have given me. Forgive me for the times I have allowed worldly worries, pride, or distractions to take Your place in my heart. Teach me to seek You above all things and to worship You in spirit and in truth. Lord, I surrender my plans, my desires, my family, and my future into Your loving hands. Give me the humility to accept Your wisdom, the courage to follow Your commandments, and the faith to trust You when I cannot understand Your ways. May my prayers honour You, my words reflect Your goodness, and my actions reveal Your love. Help me remember that every breath is a gift and every day is another opportunity to glorify Your holy name. Lord Jesus, draw me closer to You. May I always approach You with reverence, love You with an undivided heart, and remain faithful to You throughout my life. You are my Maker, my God, and the One to whom all glory belongs. I worship You today and forever. Amen.
