First car I ever drove was my grandpa’s 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 crew cab with an extended bed 😅 that thing was like 22’ long. My grandpa had me get the truck when we were at this river & said to not hit the pole as I backed up. I didn’t, we got lunch, then came back. When we were leaving the second time, my grandpa hits the pole as we’re leaving 😂 I was 11, made it out fine. He was in his 60s & we hit that pole 😭

My son was 20 and my daughter was 10 when their dad and I were out of town and he was teaching her to drive the semi! Farm kids don’t need drivers Ed!

I was eight, he’ll be alright. Best practice to use mirrors as he gets comfortable, cameras should be second option on any vehicle.

I started drivers Ed at 14 and license at 15. They 100% should NOT get a license at 14 and that’s all I’m gonna say… ESPECIALLY in bigger areas. Just moved to Detroit and I have 2 years of driving under my belt but it’s still difficult sometimes.
