Alyssa :
Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger did one movie together almost 30 years ago and then basically immediately fell out of touch?? Dedicating to him felt cheap to me and no one is talking about it!!!

I’m also gonna say: Maura’s was fun but it was awful.

Not to mention the best routine of the night about overcoming anxiety and the strength of sisterhood immediately into sexiest pro 😭

I don’t think Tatiana was underscored, but I do think Julia was over scored. Eight for both of them.

Julia is relying heavily on nostalgia and Ezra’s choreography has not been that good

The highlight was after watching Amber and sobbing with her after her dance and then whiplash to pasha sexiest pro winner

The cat and the hat was so odd and I hated that they did it this episode

I’d be interested to know if Julia reached out to Heath’s family about the dance bc I noted Tatyana thanking James’ family for letting them do their dedication. Because idk it was my understanding that Julia and Heath didn’t really remain close or stay in touch.

I think the Heath Ledger tribute was probably piped in from the producers … they want those moments people will be tuning in for

I agree 100% with Julia, I’ve been voting for her but I thought she had the weakest contemporary of the night and the judges were too scared of the hate they were going to get if they gave 8s

I think the cat and the hat break made everyone snap out of their feelings and then Julia was just standing alone. I think Tyler with the GR should have been last!

I sobbed at several of the dances, Julia’s wasn’t one of them. It felt gimmicky and impersonal

I do not believe they have been underscoring Tatyana but this week she was robbed of 9s. Julia is constantly over scored and her tribute felt performative.
