As an esti going back to school for ultrasound I would say it depends on what you’re wanting. If I’m being honest, if I didn’t have to go back to school then I wouldn’t but being an esthetician isn’t cutting it. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love what I do I just need more stability. When it’s great, it’s amazing but on the slower weeks it’s tough to maintain bills and everything. I’ve always had an interest in sonography and I know it’s hard but I also know it’ll provide the financial stability I need while allowing me to also use that money into my business but not making myself go into debt

As an esthetician going back to school to be an ultrasound technician u can do both!! Get somewhat established as an esthetician or other way around and then go back and do the other thing if you truly want to

Coming from someone who works in Diagnostic Imaging please do not choose Ultrasound for the money and benefits. Only go into healthcare if you actually care about the patients and the job it’s not as glamorous as the internet makes it seem. patients are confused, aggressive, dealing with doctors is not easy either. Burnout rate and job injury are high. I love my job but we need more people in healthcare that actually want to be in healthcare !! Just something to keep in mind wish you luck:)

Well. They are super different careers. I would do some research to see what kind of job your personality fits best. Ultrasound is not as cutey as people think.

As me being a esthetican from 17 years old till now! I whould say please do UT you can get a more stable paycheck! Yes it’s easy fast money but it’s not always there and with UT you can pick shifts up if you need too and be more then good!
