I was a Christian for more than 4 decades and a southern Baptist pastor for more than 2 decades, and the more I read scripture and studied it, the more I realized it was B. S. I have been an agnostic atheist for more than 10 years now and I have found true freedom in self and humanity. There is no visible God. There is no relational God. There is no God that honors Bible Promises, and there is no God that answers prayers. It's all fake believe, delusions of grandeur & mass psychosis 💯

Hi, I'm currently reading your book. I'm about half way through and it is a fantastic read so far. It's interesting to hear the perspective of people deconstructing, understanding nihilism and how that can bring on depression. I was born and live in the UK, we are predominantly atheist here so I've never had that experience.

I dont follow a 'religion' as such, but I do make offerings to our Earth in all aspects, the ground, water,air(sky) fire and the spirit 'soul', there is no 'god' involved, just the reality of the grass, trees, flowers, rivers, insects, animals - anything not human I guess

This is also about the brutal forces of nature and indifferent workings of our reality and inherent teliological evils that exist such as predation, carnism, viruses, pathogens, parasitism, diseases, genetic defects, cancers, earthquakes and plate tectonics, tsunamis and landslides, volcanoes, droughts, tornadoes and hurricanes, floods…etc, and the numerous other innate sufferings caused by the workings, structure and fundamental principles of how the cosmos and natural world operates in its foundation, all this has nothing to do with human or a Satan’s free will (which does not even exist in the first place) and humans are themselves also a product of the brutal evolutionary process. This is not a result of any actions on our part, but directly in-built into how this universe operates as multiple fields of science have investigated, observed and discovered, it has been like this for billions, millions and hundreds of thousands of years.

Ok - if u believe there is no God then you have to explain beyond doubt following key questions 1) How this universe been made 2) How life came into being from non life elements 3) whats the purpose of life for human being 4) most important how can you do justice to someone like Hitler who killed millions of people ????
