@gempirecards: On October 13, a FedEx truck carrying newly graded Pokémon and sports cards from PSA was burglarized outside its Southern California facility, resulting in one of the largest reported thefts of graded cards in recent memory. According to reports, thieves stole approximately 250 packages, with the first two pallets alone valued at $963,000. The total value of the stolen cards could exceed $1 million as the investigation continues. PSA has begun contacting affected collectors and confirmed that certification numbers associated with the stolen cards have been deactivated. The company is also working with FedEx, law enforcement, and marketplace partners to help identify and recover the missing cards. Affected collectors will be compensated based on fair market value, up to the Maximum Insured Value selected for each item. The incident raises broader concerns about the security of high-value collectibles during transit, particularly as the market for rare Pokémon and sports cards continues to grow. #pokemon #pokemontcg #pokemoncards #pokemonpsa #psacard
