He lied towards the end of this story! The madi didn't march to Kampala with the Acholi. Most of the guns that were used by Tito and Bazillio forces were the guns that were mistakenly dropped by Dr. Riak Machar and Gen. Arok Thon Arok across the border into Butulomoro-Aweno Olwii area in current day Lamwo District. These guns were supplies for SPLA soldiers in 1983. The story is long....

I'm not a Ugandan myself, but I was a young boy during that time in hearing from the second wave of the Ugandan refugees in Sudan, now South Sudan. I totally agreed with you, because for what I heard, Late Iddi Amin entire entourages are the people of West Nile. Kakwa, Madi, Lugbara, Pojulu, Keliko, Mundu, Makaraka, the Ugandan Nubians, Kuku, Aringa, Bari....etc All of them were against the Luo community because of the regime, The Acholi, Lango, Teso, Alur, Banyoro, Jonam.... etc. Of course, all these tribes have a very strong connections with their counterparts in South Sudan and DRC. The entire 80% of cabinet ministers are and high ranking armies are pure South Sudanese by origin. Just listen carefully to what Late Moses Ali is narrating in this interviews.
