Thanaka, the Acheik longyi, the Thingyan Water Festival, the traditional oil-lamp dance, and the Tazaungdaing Hot-Air Balloon Festival are all authentic and distinctive expressions of Myanmar’s cultural heritage. These traditions are deeply rooted in our nation’s history, identity, and way of life. **We will never, under any circumstances, tolerate the misappropriation, misrepresentation, or unauthorized claiming of our cultural heritage by any other country.** Our traditions deserve recognition, respect, and protection as an integral part of Myanmar’s cultural identity.

As citizens of Myanmar, we urgently demand an official clarification and explanation from the film production company/organization regarding this matter.
