@cardcounsel.esq: The latest PSA theft update raises some important legal questions. A theft doesn’t automatically prove negligence, and the value of a card doesn’t necessarily equal the amount covered under the shipping terms. Here’s what collectors need to understand about carrier liability, declared value, and PSA’s compensation policy. #PSA #Collectibles #CardCounsel #TradingCards #Collecting
I’m confused. So let’s say you use PSA Super Express @$349 that has a max insured value of $5,000. PSA loses/damages the card. PSA researched fair market value and says its fair market value is only $3000. You

The package of ETBs I ordered from Pokemon Center were opened and the packs were stolen. I tried to contact FeDeX and theyre making it so hard to even take responsibility for that. They just say the package was delivered and that is it.

why are companies using ANYTHING aside from usps,if you steal from usps it's a WAAAAY worse charge then from fed ex or ups,no one should be shipping anything valuable with anything other than usps.

the odds of this just being a coincidence is very small. someone knew what was on that truck before hand. this needs to be dug deeper.

PSA controls the pricing, and most times they will also upcharge the shipping agreement based on the value of the card, they have a big monopoly on all aspects of the market 😏

No way someone with $100k in cards didn’t receive the amount to cover if this were to happen. Psa handles all the to and from insurance in the original price before sending them off to psa

There’s to many red flags imho. How would anyone know there was a large shipment that PSA was getting ready to ship back out one, two, where was the driver during that time? Who knows who at this point.

As a truck driver every time I picked up a high dollar loads we are required to drive 300 miles before we stop so if someone is watching the shipper they won’t be able to get the load

But the value when it gets declared is right but once graded and if psa10 now worth a lot more it don’t get that value till it gets graded PSA should be the one insured these slabs at that point it’s PSA fault they owe $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Once it’s graded. Psa charges you for the maximum insured value… “saving on shipping” is only pregrading.
