I’ve been doing a LOT of research on this. And she’s spot on. They purchase these properties, leave them vacant for years because if you leave a property/land that had RSO units vacant for a certain amount of years, it dis-enrolls the land/property from RSO. It’s a nastyyyy work around and this is why I want to join city council so I can help push to stop this. Like, ASAP

This happened to my grandma, she’s lived in the same apartment complex in silver lake for 50+ years. She’s paying like 1100 for a 2 bedroom. she frequently tells me how property management makes life difficult for her and that they hate her because they could sell her apartment for 3x what she is paying.
