Someone had the door locked to the room I was using to pump in. I have absolutely no shame. I only pumped in that room out of respect for my coworkers. I couldn’t care less who saw me. So, I pumped in the breakroom. Completely topless. Funny how fast HR works on my behalf in situations like that 😂

ugh dude for my community service the manager told me i needed a DOCTORS NOTE stating i could take longer than 10 min breaks every 2 hours to pump. & yes she was a boomer.

@jennspencer1217: Literally had this happen to me. This woman would take calls in my room. I had to tell her to leave. Next time I saw her she yelled at me and told me I had no right to the room (she was a grandma and I was the only pumping mom). I yelled “I can’t just have my tits out anywhere”

I had 16 weeks of maternity leave and when I went back to the office, my boss had set up an extra office just for me to pump in and only she and I had the keys 🥰

pumping room at the office, but I had my own office, so I tried pumping in my office. the number of people coming by to ask me things during my pump sessions. it didn't work out. even when I posted a note on my door stating I was pumping. So, if wanted to pump at work, yes, absolutely, the pumping room is the better location to do that. no one interrupting there. oh and when people weren't knocking at the door, they blow up my email or call. like sir, ma'am, I'm trying to relax for my milk to flow, I've got plastic parts on my body, not a warm baby, my body isn't responding the same way. give me my "break" and I'll be happy to help you AFTER. overworked and underappreciated. life.

I tried to go to the mother’s room at Walmart to nurse my baby as he was screaming during the grocery shop wanting to nurse. Mothers room was locked and an employee came out with her lunch after I had knocked and ended up nursing in the hallway

Our building has keycard locks. The lactation room has a keycard lock. No one’s keycard is registered to unlock the lactation room without permission.
