you're not taking into account part of Penix's job yes protections and is to get them in the right play to beat pressure. stats show that he faced a slightly above average pressure rate compared to the NFL average for that game. and you know what, he was beating the blitzes in the fourth quarter. his problem has always been inconsistency. you can't play bad for 3 quarters and then play well in the 4th. this game alone should so inconsistent QB play is a problem. the same OC was calling the plays in the first three quarters that called it in the 4th. one thing a lot of people have noticed about Penix is that he has played scared since coming back. that fourth quarter he looked a little different to me. one of two things happened, either that was the good part of his inconsistency coming through or something clicked. we haven't had enough time to assess this offense, particularly Penix in this offense as it's only their fourth game together.

Also I feel like he throwing it quicker now bc he knows the rush been getting there so it naturally speeds up his time so he gonna look for the quick routes either the out or in breaking routes rather than sit back and let the play develop bc oline wasn’t doing good throughout the game and we’ve been had a bad pass blocking oline
