It was a lease. He didn’t detail it he relinquished the car to the dealership. They detailed it and sold it. The police probably released it and he didn’t want it back and had the dealership get it.

I think you're missing the main point of the outrage. Who's running to get the car detailed and sold right after the 💀 of their three children with a wife in ICU and a funeral coming up in 3 days? I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks that's a normal course of action at a time like that. Most people would not even be able to function. And it's not like he desperately needed money. It doesn't sit right. It's beyond weird. Find me one person who has experienced a severe traumatic loss who's even remotely concerned with doing something like that. I think it says a lot about who he is.

Agree, we have no idea what happened. Even if he forged her signature, it’s not legally material at this point. It does strengthen the mounting evidence that he was very quick to erase everything about his former family which seems quite abnormal for a grieving father and husband.
