I feel ya. March 7 2024 I was busy buying groceries I left my phone in the car. I went out to the car and put my food away in the car strap my toddler in and sat down look at my phone I was what's all these missed calls from my oldest son. I was getting ready to call him back and he buzzed me again. I said hello. he said great grandma is gone..I thought he was joking. I said u lieing. he said mom no. my cousin beeps in Amanda don't call me for nothing. I said let see why Amanda is call he said ok but mom j am not lieing. I click over the truth hit me so hard.when she said grandma was gone. I don't remember how I got to my baby dads home. I don't remember . I just remember him come out side saying u had been sit here for awhile staring at the sky. I said my grandma is gone. I don't remember get out of the car. but some how I did. I hit the ground to my knees and cried . I will never forget being so lost for months.

My pap went first… at his funeral she kissed his cheek and said she’d see him soon. I thought it was the dementia and she just didn’t know… 11 months later she was gone. My entire world implode. My family hasn’t been the same since.
