@thesameerproject: Women’s health is too often neglected around the world. In Gaza, the occupation’s relentless bombardment and destruction of healthcare infrastructure have made preventive care nearly impossible. When women are struggling to feed their families, find shelter, and survive another day, early cancer detection becomes a privilege rather than a basic right. As part of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Sameer Project organized an awareness and early detection education session for approximately 70 women at Refaat Alareer Camp on October 7, 2026. Through our women’s health initiatives, we are working to restore access to preventive care, education, and dignity for Palestinian women. Survival should not come at the expense of women’s health.
