I aways book seat next to my child. It doesn't cost much. I was never asked to move but if I am I wouldn't.

Happened similar to me so I just ask them I paid extra for that particular seat. Firm. Same with an old woman on a separate flight, she moved to the middle next to me, I gave her a blanket and put some subtitles and old film on my iPad so she could watch it too (no screens on the 6 hour flight, plus she didn’t speak English so put Spanish subtitles)

Never been on a plane, but I understand you pay more for a window seat. So was the guy gonna reimburse you Or what? i doubt that was his plan. So why would you give up a seat That YOU actually paid for. You're not selfish or unkind, you just want what you paid for and to receive that in full. I have kids and I can tell you that they know the word no, and what it means And that we don't guilt people into getting things that we want.

I always have the window seat, I like to lean on the window with my pillow for comfort to have a nap. 😂
