ALAN MOORE HULL PUB COURT BREACH CONVICTION In 2026, 67-year-old Alan Moore, of Perth Street West, Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, was jailed after carrying out a predatory series of digital assaults and violating his public protection restrictions. The investigation established that eagle-eyed customers caught Moore at The Humber pub in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, where he was openly viewing child abuse videos on an unregistered laptop. The prosecution reported at Hull Crown Court that Moore then deleted the data to evade police tracking, identifying a total abandonment of court-ordered monitoring rules by the 67-year-old. SENTENCING — On Tuesday, 19 May 2026, Recorder Taryn Turner at Hull Crown Court imposed an immediate three-and-a-half-year custodial sentence after Moore entered prior guilty pleas to a string of felony counts. He admitted three counts of possessing indecent images of children, three counts of making indecent images, and three separate breaches of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), including hiding a new phone, a passport, and deleting data. The court heard that a forensic extraction recovered 2,092 abusive files featuring babies, toddlers, and children, stored in folders labelled
The court heard that a forensic extraction recovered 2,092 abusive files featuring babies, toddlers, and children, stored in folders labelled "Cuties". Given his long history of 12 related sex offences dating back to 2013, the judiciary ruled his flagrant non-compliance required immediate, secure containment. OFFENCES: Pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images, three counts of possessing indecent images, and three counts of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. OUTCOME: Jailed for three years and six months; lifelong Sex Offenders Register and statutory tracking conditions legally reinforced. NATURE OF OFFENCE: The offender utilised public spaces and multiple unregistered electronic devices as a mechanical necessity to consume and delete child exploitation material. He combined the accumulation of over 2,000 illicit files with active non-compliance, hiding a new phone, laptop, and passport from police handlers, and destroying forensic data inside a public house until civilian intervention triggered his arrest. LOCATION OF OFFENCES: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire; previous related convictions handled within the Chelmsford and Knaresborough court circuits. PROFILE: Alan Moore, 67. He is documented as a prolific, high-risk recidivist digital predator whose forensic profile involves a total refusal to engage with public protection monitoring frameworks. UK SEX OFFENDERS REGISTER: Subject to ongoing, mandatory lifelong sex offender registration and notification provisions managed under Humberside Police. COURT PROCEEDINGS: Final plea progression and sentencing completed at Hull Crown Court following a rapid public enforcement response. CRIMINAL RECORD: Registered sex offender and recidivist child imagery consumer serving an immediate custodial sentence in 2026. ORIGIN OF OFFENDER: Moore is from Perth Street West, Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire. QUESTION - Given that "a registered sex offender with twelve prior offences flagrantly breached his court orders to download thousands of images of babies and children and view them inside a public house," do you believe the law should legally mandate that "All Recidivist Sex Offenders Who Intentionally Breach Active Protective Orders to Consume Illicit Material" must be "Sentenced to Mandatory Whole-Life Incarceration Without Parole" to prevent a series of assaults?
