@whatshotblog: Bonnie Garmus on fighting conformity and celebrating uniqueness in Peck & Peck 🐣 Garmus’ latest novel tells the story of Batter Gray, a recent graduate who gets his dream job at the prestigious Peck & Peck poetry journal. However, things don’t go quite as expected as he finds himself in the copy room… and becomes embroiled in the dysfunctional family drama between twin brothers (Peck… and Peck). The eccentric editors who work at the quarterly are hungry for outstanding and unique poetry so it’s fitting that their office space be a place that is super creative and a little whimsy. There’s a magnificent glass dome (the aviary), topiaries, mobiles of letters hanging from the ceiling, a rotunda staircase and more. The office was like a character itself and a place I’d love to see in real life so I asked Bonnie what inspired this space. Have you read Peck & Peck yet?
