It definitely needs balance. I’ve seen firsthand a child that was given everything disrespect their parents like they are nothing. Their reason behind disrespecting their parents is the fact that now since they’re grown, the parents don’t do the same things they did when they were younger. They don’t have any survival skills, but a lot of audacity and entitlement. 😭
