But it wasn’t constructive criticism because you weren’t telling him how he could improve - you just basically said you didn’t think he was a great dancer - and you did it publicly which can be humiliating. If you thought his dancing wasn’t great and had some real advice as to how he could improve, a phone call to him would have been better. Think about how you’d feel if he said the exact same things on a public forum about you…

Alan is amazing no doubt, but he shines best in dances like the Viennese Waltz! He doesn't have the energy, aura, vibe, whatever you want to call it that Val has for sexier dances & that's okay! I could be wrong, but I think that may be what Gleb was trying to say. Val is more intense. Alan is softer (not in a bad way) love them both!

My interpretation of Gleb making comments about Alan’s dancing. Gleb was feeling from what he said that production was being unfair to Val for suspending him and putting Alan in his place. He felt that Alan was not as good as Val but he would not have gone there about Alan vs Val if is wasn’t for Val’s suspension…🤷‍♀️
