The footprint under your tent protects the bottom of your tent from twigs and rocks so it doesn't tear. Definitely a good purchase 🙌🏽

It it rains... you'll understand why you need that tarp lol and make sure not to leave any of the tarp sticking out from under the tent.

Tarp goes under the tent to keep rocks from puncturing the floor of your tent and to keep water out. You want it to be slightly smaller than the floor of your tent. If it were to rain, water will not pool into the tarp and get your floor soaking wet. It’s important!

I can’t recommend camping slippers enough. love the kubua ones on amazon and you can wash them in the washing machine.

the tarp under the tent just keeps the bottom of the tent cleaner for when you pack it up! often if it rains, the bottom will get muddy. so the tarp helps!

if there is a chance of rain, make sure the tarp underneath doesn't hang out past the footprint of the the tent, otherwise you'll have water pooling.

The tarp under your tent or “footprint” is to protect your tent from rocks, sticks etc. it also to keep moisture from your tent. MAKE SURE ITS NOT BIGGER THAN YOUR TENT…if so fold…if it sticks out, it will collect rain that will funnel between it and the tent defeating the purpose

Double check if the tent bag has a leaf in the bottom to cut open so the tent will actually go back in the bag. It usually makes the bag like a duffle instead of a square.

if you go alone, please bring a pair of old mens boots from goodwill. they need to be worn, not new. and like the other comment said, a second chair. never make it seem like you are alone! love thisssss, also getting a towel or rug from the dollar store to put at the door of you tent, it just helps!

Also an extra tarp ton put on top of your tent if it starts raining really hard… learned that the hard way in the middle of a tornado this summer 🥲

as a summer and winter camper who only brings a toilet with me during winter camping season, you've peaked my interest with the Loona. My only question is, why that if you already have a toilet bucket/bathroom? sell me on this (its currently waiting in my cart)

Just went camping in the mountains last weekend, tarp under the tent because even though it didn't rain, and the ground was dry at setup, the entire underside of our tent was soaked when we did breakdown! the tarp WILL prevent that. we are buying one for under AND an extra for over the top in case of inclement weather/leaking
