Bolton Crown Court heard that Amar Manzoor carried out the horrific campaign of abuse across a seven-year period between 2018 and 2025. Greater Manchester Police launched an extensive investigation into Manzoor’s violent and controlling offending across multiple victims. Following a trial, a jury found him guilty of 12 serious counts, including three rapes, non-fatal strangulation, stalking, and perverting the course of justice. The judge sentenced Manzoor to 22 years in prison, handed down lifetime restraining orders protecting all three victims, and placed him on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
